Yomichi NPC'S

JELVAIC RANOVIS

Jelvaic is a powerfully built man and has been a well known farmer within Autay Wa for years. Ever since Yomichi's ruin, he's taken it upon himself to organize the survivors and keep everyone focused on restoring their city. Akumu or no Akumu, this is their city and all of these other groups need to recognize that. He can be gruff at times, and he's knocked more than a few heads since organizing things, but he's generally seen as an honest and hardworking man who has the city and it's people's best interests at heart. What he lacks in political acumen he makes up for in sheer will.
He is missing his right eye, something that he doesn't like talking about, since it was lost because he chanced a glance at the city just as Akumu was overthrown, melting the one eye that was facing the doomed city. 

DAMARYS KYLA

One of Yomichi's hunters, Damarys was responsible for tracking and monitoring the herds and other game animals around Yomichi. She is a skilled hunter, and when it's time for work, she's all business. It was for this reason that Jelvaic brought her on as one of his primary scouts early on. However, she is a bit of an anomaly. Following the surge of energy marking Akumu's downfall, everyone was healed of any previous malady or injury, save for the eyes of those few onlookers. Damarys is missing her left arm. The injury is clearly recent, though she's been seen practicing her archery again in the last few days using a prosthetic she'd somehow procured.

ARJANA KASPAR

The only person in the region who has actually seen real war, Arjana left Yume years ago and has fought in most every major war on the continent for the past several decades. Her best fighting years are behind her but her fighting spirit and martial experience have made her a close and trusted adviser to Jelvaic. She has taken a particular interest in training Damarys and it's rumored that Arjana had something to do with acquiring the prosthetic arm. Arjana has certainly told many tales of warriors she'd fought with who had found ways to carry one even after being grieviously wounded.
Arjana was not in Yomichi when it fell, having been hired at the time to guard a merchant caravan, but she was swift to return once word of the events reached her.

JERLINZIA

As far as anyone can tell, Jerlinzia is the only survivor from inside Yomichi who wasn't from Autay Wa. Being a merchant, she would normally have been in Ichiba Wa but as luck would have it she happened to just be returning to the city after taking a holiday in Shinrai and was thus able to escape. She has set herself up a small shop in the camp and has been trying to make the best of a bad situation, like everyone else. Her supply is limited, but she's been able to still gather and provide a surprising amount of necessities, as well as some oddities and trinkets she happened to have on her at the time of the attack. Her manner may be somewhat awkward, but her prices are just as good as they were before Yomichi was assaulted. She seems to get upset whenever anyone suggests she could charge more for her wares, given the situation. She always responds, in her monotone fashion, that given the situation she would be ashamed to charge more. 

NYLA

Nyla has been the guard for the main gate for just over a century now. How or why Akumu convinced her to serve there is beyond anyone, but what is known is that Nyla is the only fiend not magically bound to the city but who served willingly. Akumu trusted her so much that he granted her authority over the entirity of the outer wall defenses as well as those within Autay Wa. She has not been seen following the attack on the city.

KAMILLUS

Kamillus is a short imp that Akumu bound to assist Nyla in guarding the gate. Kamillus hates being bound, but he does seem to enjoy punishing lawbreakers. He has gathered trinkets and jewelry from past lawbreakers and has adorned himself accordingly. Some people from Yomichi refer to him as the city raven. The moniker is in part due to his ability to shape shift into a raven, though he is just as likely to shift into any number of other things, but also because of his affinity for shiny things. He's not someone you can bribe if it goes against the law, but tossing him a nice necklace or two will certainly earn you an earful of useful information, or at least increase your chances that he won't harass you while you're trying to pass through the gate. Ever since the attack on the city, he's been rather sullen since he had expected to be set free once Akumu was defeated. Not so, and so now he's stuck playing guard at the gate of a ruined city. The only good thing to come out of it, according to him, is that Nyla's no where to be found. The two of them never saw eye to eye and with her MIA, he's in charge of the gate now.

TOMODACHI

Tomodachi is a satyr and an enigma. Everyone knows Tomodachi. He's been around for as long as anyone remembers. Even Nyla admits that Tomodachi has been around longer than she has been. Though whether she means he's been working as a city guard longer than her, or if she actually means that he is older than her is unclear. He certainly doesn't seem to age. The mural of him that hangs in each guard house is proof of that. Regardless of the unknowns surrounding Tomodachi, there are a few things that are known. He's the captain of the city guard and leads patrols throughout all of the Wa's. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to when he chooses to patrol one Wa or another. Though he technically is outranked by Nyla when it comes to issues at the gate, she seems to defer to him whenever he's out patrolling Autay Wa. Ever since the assault on Yomichi, Tomodachi has taken to standing guard with Kamillus. His manner seems bored, but his eyes burn with an energy and intensity few have ever seen there before.
